“After receiving outstanding references from other Peters Technology Group customers, Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation selected Peters to assist us in developing a corporate Knowledge Management strategy. Together, we presented this strategy to the executive management team. The presentation was convincing, and then I was given approval to begin implementing the strategy.
The first engagement was to implement a Domino.Doc solution for managing the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a fuel reprocessing facility. This was quite challenging, as we had to overcome a variety of cultural hurdles. In addition, there were several subcontractors of the facility design team located in other countries. Sharing documents with the subcontractors was crucial to the project’s success. Although not without difficulty, the document management system was implemented and has been very successful.
